Willow Creek Church is a place to belong. We want to help our guests make meaningful connections. Here are some things that you can do to help us get started.
#1. Join us for worship
Willow Creek offers two worship services every Sunday. Our Chapel Service meets at 9:00AM, and features acoustic music. Our Center Service meets at 10:45AM, accompanied by a full band.
Need directions or have other guest-related questions? Contact Drew Taylor, our Pastor of Families and Connections. He is here to help our guests, and loves doing so!
NOTE: We offer American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation at our Chapel Service (9:00AM).
#2. VISIT OUR WELCOME DESK
Once you're here, stop by our Welcome Desk. It is conveniently located in our foyer. We've staffed it with kind, enthusiastic people ready to help you make the most of your visit.
Welcome Desk staff members can answer your questions; help check your children into the nursery or our children's ministry programming; and so much more! Be sure to stop by and introduce yourself.
#3. Complete the 'Connect Card'
Our worship bulletin includes a tear-away portion that can be completed and placed in the offering plate as its passed down your row in worship. Please take a moment to complete this during the service. We'll follow up, thanking your for your visit and inviting you to connect in other ways.
#4. Follow us on Facebook & Twitter
#5. Sign up for our weekly email
We send an email every week. It includes important information about Sunday services and upcoming events. We won't blast your inbox and you can unsubscribe at any time. Sign up here!
#6. INstall our Free Ministry App
We have a free ministry app available at the App Store (iPhone) and Google Play (Android). You can use it to share prayer concerns with our staff, complete the Connect Card, listen to recent messages, read the Bible, watch ministry update videos, give to the ministry of Willow Creek Church, and more.
#7. Attend 'Discover'
Discover is our guest welcome seminar. Meeting over five Sundays, you'll meet our pastors, members of our staff and leadership, as well as members of the Willow Creek family. You'll also enjoy a light breakfast. We'll answer your questions, and help you take the next step of connection at Willow Creek. To learn more about or register for the next session, please visit our Discover page.
#8. Join a Connect Group
Willow Creek offers many vibrant, welcoming Connect Groups. We encourage all of our members and friends to be part of one. Devoted to prayer, care, and study, these small groups meet in member homes for times of routine fellowship. Some of our groups have been meeting together for decades. Others are brand new. We'll find one just right for you. Contact Pastor Drew Taylor for information.
#9. SERVE ON A MINISTRY team
One of the greatest ways to make and maintain meaningful connections at Willow Creek is to serve on one our many ministry teams. We're always looking for new team members. Don't know where to serve? We can help you find a perfect place to use your gifts!
#10. Stay committed
Sometimes, connections happen immediately. Other times, it takes a little longer. Don't lose heart. We're here to help. Just contact a member of our pastoral staff, and we'll set up a time to encourage and equip the connections every child of God needs to thrive.
