WCC Children's Ministry Spotlight: Gale Poleschuk
We have so many outstanding people who volunteer in our children's ministry. We feel it is important to highlight a few of them.
Gale Poleschuk, is a FANTASTIC children's ministry volunteer! For several years, Gale has taught our 4th/5th grade Sunday School class, has led our 4th/5th grade VBS team, and has served as a Communicants leader for our 4th/5th graders. Her love for our older elementary students is so evident in the way she mixes grace, love, and a no-nonsense demeanor.
Gale & her husband Bill have been a part of the Willow Creek Church family for many years. They both serve as greeters and Bill has served as an usher. For her career, Gale works as an esthetician out of her home. She loves to wear stylish clothes and always enters our children's ministry area looking great and bringing great enthusiasm!
I have loved watching Gale connect with the children in her classes, as she commonly shares stories and experiences from her own life, and asks really good questions to get her class to open up and share about their life. The best example of her classroom management, was watching as the 4th/5th graders depart from Sunday School and begin singing the Bible memory verse that Gale has worked with them on. Gale's energy is contagious, and whenever she teaches, the kids are engaged.
We are so thankful for so many wonderful people in our WCC children's ministry! I am so thankful that Gale Poleschuk has served us faithfully for many years, and pray she does for many years to come. It is through people, and relationships, that God's word is spread and his glory is seen. Thank you Gale for your love and care for our kids at Willow Creek Church. You are loved!
