Willow Creek Church Ministry Apprenticeship

Are you training for ministry? Let us help you!

Willow Creek Church is so privileged to have a geographically and ministerially close relationship with the Orlando campus of Reformed Theological Seminary (RTS). Over the years, many of our members and friends have attended and even graduated from RTS-Orlando. Some RTS professors and staff even call Willow Creek their church home. All of that is to say: we love RTS-Orlando and its students and their families.

With that in mind, the elders of Willow Creek Church recently established the Willow Creek Church Ministry Apprenticeship. Through the apprenticeship, we hope to help encourage, equip, and entrust men and women preparing for ministry in church settings.

Whether you’re a man called to pastor or a woman called to church ministry, we want to support and strengthen your seminary training with broad experiential training within the context of a church committed to declaring and demonstrating the liberating power of the gospel. We want to help you grow as a person of character and competency, all while grounding your identity in the finished work of Jesus Christ, not your performance.

If you’re sensing a call to ministry within a local church, and desire to be encouraged and equipped for gospel ministry, please contact Kevin Labby, our Senior Pastor, through his assistant. We will schedule an informational meeting to discuss your hopes, outline the Willow Creek Church Ministry Apprenticeship, and prayerfully discern if this might be part of God’s plan for you!
