Week 23 | New City Catechism and Scripture
Every week, our worship bulletin includes a Q&A from the New City Catechism, along with a supporting Bible verse that we invite you to memorize. This week's Q&A, memory verse, and explanatory video are below:
New City Catechism #23
Q. What must the Redeemer be truly God?
A. That because of his divine nature his obedience and suffering would be perfect and effective; and also that he would be able to bear the righteous anger of God against sin and yet overcome death.
Scripture Memory Verse - Acts 2:24
God raised him up, loosing the pangs of death, because it was not possible for him to be held by it.
