Meet Ben Schultz, Willow Creek Ministry Apprentice
Hey there, my name is Benjamin Schultz!
My wife Heather and I moved from Tampa so that I could attend Reformed Theological Seminary here in Orlando. I was raised in the church and accepted the grace of God at an early age. I was homeschooled K-12 and played hockey for Brandon High School. I then graduated from the University of South Florida with a B.A. in Philosophy and commissioned as an Officer into the U.S. Army Reserves. While in college I met and married my wife Heather who is now studying at UCF’s Rosen College. I am pursuing a Master's of Divinity and seeking ordination so that I can become a U.S. Army Chaplain. I am a life long Reformed Presbyterian with a lineage of Pastors, Chaplains, Elders, and Seminary Professors.
I have a heart for Veterans, the wise (elderly), and the sick. My life's desire is to see the church united in glorifying God and loving others. I love to travel and experience new things; I'm always up for a good adventure or meeting new people. In my rare free time I am an armchair historian, cartographer, and vexillologist.
